Introduction to Wood Turning…
Starting your journey into wood turning is all about the basics. Once you have the basics, your experimentation knows no bounds! Wood turning is an amazing craft and with an easy start to the fundamentals you can start creating beautiful wood projects.
These two course options will teach you the basic fundamentals of starting to turn and what to expect using the tools, machines and materials!
WOOD TURNING WORKSHOPS
Intro to Turning - Make a Bowl!
$250.00 + HST
Join me in the shop for a fun time learning how to turn on the lathe. In this class you will get the very basics in starting to turn wood on a lathe. At the end of the class you will walk away with your very own wood bowl created by you!

STOOL BUILDING WORKSHOPS
TURN A STOOL!
FULL DAY - $600 + HST
My very first piece of “furniture” was a three legged stool. He was wonky and weird and I love him!! I turned three different legs because I wanted to, and had a hell of a time learning the math on the correct angle for the legs to fit into the seat. So naturally it’s time to share it with the world!
In this class you’ll turn all three legs (they do not need to be all different lol) and also turn your seat. From there we’ll talk leg angles and tenons and head over to the drill press!
This simple and classic design is a balance between function and beauty. The three legs provide a sturdy base.
This is a full Day Class - 10am - 6pm

Join me for 5 nights with a great beginner project in learning the different aspects of woodworking and carpentry.
This is a one-on-one intensive class to guide you through building an easy bench with shoe storage.
